Procrastination

"Stop waiting for the storm to end and start learning to dance in the rain".

Dancing in the Rain

A few weeks ago, Windermere held their 2010 Kickoff meeting. A great reminder of the skills and mindset it takes to create a successful career. Great motivation to re-focus on our Commitment, Consistency & Communication.

I attended Real Estate Barcamp last Friday.  An "unconference" comprised of many real estate professionals in the Seattle area. Much of the focus of these open forum sessions related to social media and blogging for real estate.

Ok Universe, I think I've been bonked on the head enough now!  I've thought about blogging for the past few years. I've attended a couple of blogging classes and researched other's blogs. I read several blogs on a regular basis. I've even written a few articles that I've saved in a folder called blog topics. Yet, I procrastinate.

Why?  Simply put:  Fear.  Much as I'd like to be, I am not perfect. There will be typos. My grammar ain't so good sometimes. I question who really wants to read what I have to say anyways? But I am committing myself to this. My goal is that hopefully along the way, there will be some information that can help you better market yourself as a Realtor, the properties you represent, plus offer tips and links to resources that can help make your job more efficient and bring you more success...

So I'm jumping in. Typos, grammatical errors and all.

So, true I've gotten some other pretty cool projects accomplished just from supposing to be doing something else! However unfortunatley for me (especially at 2 or 3:00 AM ) my Mantra is Never put off till tomorrow what you can do today! was tattooed into my brain from somewhere in early childhood.drats!

Woohoo you have finally done! I'm sure the blog will be great ...fear is a great motivator. How was the Barcamp and the guests from ThinkBigworksmall? Their post was favorable.
